Naiad Lawn Watering Robot
For this project, I was given the completely open-ended prompt of:
Identify a problem in yard care and design a future-focused conceptual solution to that problem.
After conducting extensive research into various people’s yard care routines, complaints and pain points, I found that there is a great deal of wasted water around grassy lawns due to various environmental conditions and infrastructure oversights. I set out to imagine a wild new way for grass to receive the exact amount of water needed to flourish while dramatically reducing waste.
