TUC Golf Club Head Cover
While working as an Industrial Design Intern for Ping Golf, one of the largest brands in the sport of golf, I decided that the typical golf club head cover needed a redesign.
Club head covers haven’t changed much over the several decades - the most basic design remains a padded pocket for the club head with a stretchy sock material covering the club shaft. To install the club head cover, the sock material must stretch around the club head, it is difficult and frustrating to say the least.
This redesign would allow players to easily open and remove the club head cover, casually toss it on the ground or in the golf cart, then snap it back onto the club automatically with no hassle at all.
